Love your blog and am so glad to have found it! My husband and I will be in Italy in two weeks (celebrating our 25th anniversary!) and were planning on doing the Cinque Terra trails. I’m not sure of the proper name for it. After seeing the information on the flooding, I was wondering if the trails are open or if there are parts we should not attempt. Thanks!

I googled Italians and toilet paper and your blog came up, so perhaps you can shed some light. A friend here in suburbs of London runs a b&b, whenever she has Italians to stay they go through rolls and rolls of loo paper; far more than any other nationality. Last time she had to get drain clearing people in to sort her loo out.
Do you have any ideas why?
